This is First Friday week in Portsmouth and the Portsmouth Farmers Market will be part of it opening from 5:00PM-8:00PM.Then, it will re-open Saturday morning beginning at 9:30 and ending around 1:30PM. The cooler weather makes visiting the farmers market a perfect activity for this 4th of July holiday weekend.
I'm going to an annual block party Saturday evening and as usual will be bringing some food. I enjoy taking healthy choices and hope to find some salad fixings and a watermelon at the market.
